Renowned Author Asks "Is Organized Religion A Sham?"

Salt Lake City, Utah, August 3, 2004 – Ed Sepernik, renowned for his expertise in chemical engineering and the author of a vide variety of books from cooking to gambling strategies, offers his latest writings with the release of his new book titled "Is Organized Religion A Sham", published by Xlibris Corporation, a strategic partner of Random House Ventures.

The text is an accumulation of facts from primitive man's first practice of animism to today's televangelism. Dedicated to the millions who were killed in the name of God, Ed Sepernik offers great insight into cultural history, social trends and theology, while exploring the human need, desire and even requirement for organized religion. "Clearly, not everyone will agree with the provocative conclusions, however, even the most devout practitioner of any religion will find it difficult to argue with the historical accuracy of the research," commented Sepernik.

"Is Organized Religion A Sham" provides a chronological account of the origins, evolution, and devolution of organized religions, past and present. "Overall my contribution is designed to enlighten and provoke though, as well as to participate in what may be viewed as an ongoing debate," concluded Sepernik.
